This was a reimagined book cover for the classic story "A Sound of Thunder." My goal was to create a futuristic yet slightly ominous vibe. I chose this butterfly composition because of the strong butterfly motif from the story. I chose this split red and gray color palette to represent the idea that your timeline can change in a second, with the color red representing the paint used in the story and the color gray to represent the fading of the timeline.
